Tree Pitts­burgh seeks to edu­cate the region’s res­i­dents about trees and the ben­e­fits they bring. We can pro­vide edu­ca­tion­al pro­gram­ming for all ages. Our children’s book, If We Were To Plant A Tree, serves as an excel­lent jump­ing-off point for all chil­dren to learn about trees. Adults will enjoy our Tree Ten­ders course and sub­se­quent class­es that seek to deep­en everyone’s knowl­edge and under­stand­ing of the urban forest.

In addi­tion, Tree Pitts­burgh seeks to be a leader in advo­cat­ing to our local, state and fed­er­al offi­cials about why urban forestry is impor­tant. We pro­vide our friends and fel­low tree lovers with impor­tant infor­ma­tion to speak with their elect­ed offi­cials about the ben­e­fits of the urban forest.
