Tree Pittsburgh is growing! We are building a campus at our Heritage Nursery site along the Allegheny River in Upper Lawrenceville. The new campus will include an Education Center, outdoor classroom, and provide public access to the river. The Heritage Nursery will expand to include infrastructure to house up to 100,000 tree seedlings. Our Education Center is designed to achieve LEED Gold and Net-Zero Energy certifications. The building will house our offices but will also serve as a space for the community. You can see information about renting space here.
With the help of hundreds of individuals just like you, we were able to pay off the current bills and now there is just over $200,000 left to raise to cover construction costs. Your contribution to the Growing for the Future Campaign will ensure Tree Pittsburgh’s growth and capacity to plant and care for more trees across Allegheny County. Your support will leave a lasting impact for generations to come. You can read more about our campaign here.
Gifts of $1,000 or more will be recognized on our donor board. Naming opportunities are still available.
Would you like to contribute with recurring payments each month? Call us at 412/781-TREE (8733) and we will follow up with you on how to set that up.
