Join us for an EPIC marathon day of up-potting seedlings at the Heritage Nursery. Tree Pittsburgh’s Up-potapalooza is 12 hours of volunteers working in shifts to up-pot 3,000 baby tree seedlings into their own growing pots.

There are four shifts to choose from: sign up for one or more shifts, or stay all day! We’ll have light refreshments, prizes, special guests, and more fun throughout the day. Each shift will have a musical soundtrack, and a DJ will help us power through the final hours.

Bring yourself, friends, family, and coworkers. Our staff will provide training for transplanting seedlings, and they will be around all day to make sure the seedlings are safe and sound, ready to grow and flourish.

Please consider donating as well. It costs us $1.60 in materials for each seedling, covering a growing pot, specialized soil, and fertilizer – any additional support you can give is greatly appreciated!

*Please note there are multiple shifts available during the day and into the evening*
