Want to get involved with the trees in your neighborhood or community? Become a Tree Tender! Tree Tenders is a course from Tree Pittsburgh that teaches you all about trees and how to become an advocate for them in your neighborhood. Specifically, you’ll learn about urban forestry practices, tree biology and health, basic tree identification, proper pruning and maintenance, and how to lead your community in organizing tree plantings and tree care.

This training has been organized in partnership with Upstream Pittsburgh to bring Tree Tender training to the Nine Mile Run Watershed and East End neighborhoods. However, anyone may register.
