Join Tree Adoption Program staff to help prepare tree protection for Tree Adoption events! This tree protection will protect young trees adopted by residents through our Tree Adoption Program and help them to grow and thrive! You will learn how to safely cut the plastic mesh fencing cages and weed blocking paper in teams of two. Together, we will have fun helping to grow and protect private property tree canopy across Allegheny County!

We have two shifts available for the Tree Protection Prep Volunteer Days! Join us for the Morning Shift from 10 am to noon, the Afternoon Shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, or pack a lunch and stay for both!
