Need a camp for a budding nature lover who likes to spend time outdoors? Tree Pittsburgh’s STEAM Outside camp could be perfect for your rising 4th-6th grader.
We welcome campers to join us for tree art, nature observation and journaling, investigative science, paddle-boarding on the Allegheny River, and more! We’re excited to open up our five-acre, riverside campus and tree nursery in Upper Lawrenceville to adventure and learning.
In this outside setting, campers will:
- Travel through tree time from seed to sapling to old age, learning how to care for trees at different stages.
- Help steward our hiddem gem of an urban greenspace.
- Learn and share about connections in nature.
