Rainbow Raccoon Park began as a once-vacant, junk-filled lot but has transformed into a vibrant, inclusive outdoor space built around community vision and creativity. The park was designed with strong community input and named for a “scrappy, smart survivor” raccoon, embodying the spirit of Millvale and its welcoming rainbow theme. Up-cycled rainbow benches, courtesy of Shaler Area High School students, and a large rainbow-colored steel raccoon sculpture will help put the finishing touches on this welcoming space. But we need your help to work on some of the green infrastructure close by!

Volunteers will assist with removing invasive species and tending to existing trees. Tasks will also include preparing the park for a tree planting this fall!
