As part of our Sapling Sat­ur­days series, we invite you and your lit­tle ones to make edi­ble orna­ments with us in our river­side edu­ca­tion cen­ter. This FREE make-and-take activ­i­ty will uti­lize pine cones and oth­er nat­ur­al items for craft­ing dec­o­ra­tive, hang­ing treats to tempt birds to your yard. We’ll have hot cider and snacks, sto­ries, and more. Activ­i­ty suit­able for kids of all ages. No reg­is­tra­tion required.

Aller­gen Note: We’ll not be using peanuts/ peanut but­ter or tree nuts, although it’s pos­si­ble our bird seed may con­tain traces of nuts.

This drop-in event will run along­side our Tree Adop­tion at Tree Pitts­burgh’s cam­pus, and is avail­able whether you are par­tic­i­pat­ing in the adop­tion or not.  Please note that reg­is­tra­tion for the Tree Adop­tion is full. How­ev­er, any unclaimed trees will be released at noon for adop­tion on a first come, first serve basis.
