Yoga with Francine Fundraiser
September 26 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am$15
Francine Porter will lead students in a socially-distant yoga practice outside at Tree Pittsburgh’s beautiful campus on the Allegheny River in Upper Lawrenceville. The event will be 70 minutes long and will follow all appropriate CDC guidelines.
Francine has been practicing yoga for nine years and recently completed her RYS training with Michael Lubbert. A critical care nurse, Francine believes that you can only uplift others if you are in a good place yourself and found that yoga helped her deal with the everyday stressors in her life. She is excited to share with others the beautiful practice of linking breath with movement to help students feel relaxed, stronger and more peaceful.
Francine is donating her time and talents to Tree Pittsburgh pro bono. This event is a fundraiser with 100% of proceeds going to further its mission. We will be outside and following CDC social distancing guidelines. Due to these guidelines, space is limited to 20 participants. If you do not feel well or have come in contact with someone who has Covid-19, please stay home.
Tree Pittsburgh is an environmental non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community vitality by restoring and protecting the urban forest through tree planting and care, education, advocacy, and land conservation.
