What ani­mals live in the urban for­est? How do our fur­ry friends depend on trees, and vice ver­sa? We invite you and your saplings to dis­cov­er the secret world of mam­mals by explor­ing their tracks and signs around our river­side campus.

Your K‑5 Saplings will solve clues out­side, weath­er per­mit­ting, to deter­mine who lives in our urban for­est, and get hands-on with our col­lec­tion of ani­mal bio­facts. The pro­gram will fin­ish with win­ter woods art.

We will be out­side for a por­tion of the event, so be sure to dress to be outside!
