Vol­un­teer with Tree Pitts­burgh in our Her­itage Nursery!

It’s trans­plant­i­ng sea­son and we are look­ing for vol­un­teers with a green thumb to help us trans­plant our young seedlings into larg­er con­tain­ers. The major­i­ty of these trees and shrubs will be used in our future tree adop­tions and in our plant­i­ngs around the city. These Sat­ur­day events will be focused on teach­ing prop­er trans­plant­i­ng tech­niques, pro­vid­ing infor­ma­tion on each species, and hav­ing a fun day with fel­low tree lovers. We will be work­ing with our hands in the soil and will be pro­vid­ing gloves and pruners to use.
