Vol­un­teer with Tree Pitts­burgh in our Her­itage Nurs­ery! As the sea­sons change, we need help prepar­ing our young trees for the win­ter. This will include con­sol­i­dat­ing our inven­to­ry into one loca­tion and heal­ing in the trees for the win­ter. What is heal­ing in? We’ll be putting wood­chips around the pots (tops and sides) to pro­tect the trees’ roots from the harsh win­ter temperature.
