Artist Demonstration and Discussion

June 30 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join Joan Guerin for a discussion and demonstration of the possibilities for the visual and emotional documentation of our connection with local plants as part of the Art for Earth’s Sake exhibition at Tree Pittsburgh this summer.

This summer, Tree Pittsburgh’s art hall welcomes the art of the Art for Earth’s Sake collective.

In their own words: We are a small collective of professional women artists based in Western Pennsylvania whose work is inspired by the beauty, diversity, and complexity of the natural world. Our work represents a range of art processes, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media. We are also educators and teach in schools and colleges, environmental and art centers, and in the community where we use our work to cultivate a deep respect and awe for nature.”

Thank you to Art for Earth’s Sake for donating 10% of their art sales to Tree Pittsburgh this season.
