Nursery Technician

Tree Pitts­burgh is seek­ing to hire a Nurs­ery Tech­ni­cian to assist in the dai­ly oper­a­tions of the Her­itage Nurs­ery. The plants in the nurs­ery depend on this posi­tion for sur­vival, there­fore a green thumb is a must! Pri­ma­ry job respon­si­bil­i­ties include prop­a­ga­tion of seeds and care of seedlings in green­house and poly-hous­es; irri­ga­tion man­age­ment; inte­grat­ed pest man­age­ment; up-pot­ting seedlings; and gen­er­al  main­te­nance of con­tainer­ized trees.
