Driving a Greener Future
Help keep Tree Pittsburgh moving. Every mile we travel helps grow a healthier, greener Pittsburgh.
For 20 years, Tree Pittsburgh has grown, planted, protected, and cared for the trees that make our neighborhoods healthier, cooler, and more resilient. As demand for our work continues to grow, so does the need for reliable vehicles and equipment that keep our mission moving.
Our Driving a Greener Future Campaign is a $300,000 effort to modernize Tree Pittsburgh’s fleet and nursery equipment so we can plant more trees, care for more neighborhoods, and reach more communities for years to come. Thanks to generous leadership support, we’ve already raised $190,000 toward our goal—and now we’re inviting our community to help us finish the journey.
Your special gift helps provide the trucks, trailers, and equipment our team relies on every day to:
- Grow and transport thousands of trees from our Heritage Nursery
- Deliver trees to neighborhoods, schools, and community partners
- Water and care for young trees so they survive and thrive
- Support volunteer projects and community tree plantings
- Expand our reach while reducing our environmental impact through more sustainable vehicles and equipment
Every gift—large or small—helps ensure Tree Pittsburgh has the tools to care for our urban forest today and for the next 20 years.
