Tree Pittsburgh’s mission is to protect and restore our urban forest through tree planting and care, education, and advocacy.

We believe that all people have the right to benefit from the many health, environmental, and social benefits that trees provide. Our vision is to support a more resilient urban forest for all by inspiring and engaging people to maintain, plant, and protect trees. A greener region will create more vital communities for generations to come.

What We're Doing

Caring for Trees

Taking care of our trees improves our quality of life by maximizing the substantial environmental, social and economic benefits that trees provide.

Planting Trees

We are part of the TreeVitalize Pittsburgh partnership. Contact TreeVitalize Pittsburgh for more information on tree plantings.
